Riviera Okrug
is situated on the west part of the Island Čiovo. It consist of two traditional
Dalmatian inhabited places Okrug Gornji and Okrug Donji.
It is the center of Dalmatian subregion because of its geographical position.
Its famous for its mild Mediterranean climate, rich subtropical and Mediterranean
vegetation, archipelago of small picturesque islands, innumerable small
hidden bays and beaches.
Riviera Okrug with 2670 sunny hours yearly is one of the most attractive
tourist destinations in Croatia.
In Okrug Gornji and Okrug Donji there is a multitude of restaurants, wine-cellears
and other catering establishments with rich choice of ecologically clean
